little bali sits all alone, the only hindu island in the 17,000 islands of indonesia.

lombok is just to the east.

and singapore, the enormous equatorial city state

at the end of the malay peninsula (it’s not all retail therapy!)  who knows, maybe there’s time

for a quick visit to kuala lumpur’s fireflies too.

and finally bangkok, a city of gold temples, markets and tigers!
